Dr. Brett Zografos

From a young age, my parents instilled in me the value of hard work, service above self, and that we all have a responsibility to our ourselves, to our community, and to our shared future.

Ongoing EffortsEngaging Federal & State Officials to Assist with Dighton's Infrastructure Needs

Infrastructure Needs

Whether it involves bridges, roadways, water, sewer, or buildings, Brett is on the frontlines engaging with our federal and state officials to ensure that Dighton's infrastructure needs are met with the least possible burden to our residents. The following infrastructure improvements are top priority for Brett:
  • Pleasant Street Bridge
  • Dighton Fire Station No. 1
  • Sewer
  • Water
  • Dighton Public Library

Collaborating with State Officials

Brett works closely with our state delegation, State Representative Patricia Haddad and State Senator Marc Pacheco. They have collaborated together on projects ranging from Green Communities designation and energy efficiency to bridge maintenance and replacement to Community Compact Cabinet Best Practices.

More recently, Brett has initiated ongoing discussions with our state officials regarding economic development, public safety, infrastructure, and public services (e.g. water and sewer).

Engaging Federal Officials

In 2021, Brett invited Congressman Jake Auchincloss for a tour of Dighton businesses and municipal facilities in order to highlight Dighton's infrastructure needs and to emphasize the importance of federal and state assistance in helping us meet these local challenges.

Brett has helped put Dighton on the map with Commonwealth of Massachusetts' various grant agencies, helping to earn the Town of Dighton over $500,000 in grants for projects focused on energy efficiency, agriculture and open space, accessibility and ADA-compliance, and roadway/sidewalk improvements.
